Well, in the case of Miami Vice, it's probably a question of securing the music rights.
TV Shows on DVD will probably have the first news of any of them coming out on the medium.

Thaks for that link, ToL...I'd never seen it before. Sadly, still none of those are scheduled anytime soon, but I did see the first two seasons of SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU? coming in March. :)
