And since McClintock's numbersare STILL higher than Arnold's to this very day.
I'd say yes - there were an awful lot of voters who voted for Arnold because they didn't believe McClintock could win.
But the funny thing was - if they had just voted for McClintock, we'd have Governor Tom McClintock - and no drivers license for illegal alien sellout.
P.S. - If you respond, try and lay off the slander with regard's to McClintock's name. I'll call Governor Schwarzenegger Arnold or Schwarzenegger if you call McClintock Tom or McClintock or Senator McClintock.
Otherwise you just lower the decency of the debate which helps no one.
Who cares? The point was (and it was one I've made since day one) he was and remains unelectable in the liberal state of California.

I agree with that. It was/is, in fact, the reason Arnold got my vote.

But they didn't. So a vote for Arnold WAS a vote to defeat bustamechA.

Slander? I suggest you look the word up as you apparently have no idea what it means. I called him McNeverhadachance. That wasn't slanderous...it was true.

Well, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. My advice is if you don't like my posting style don't read my posts.
You make the assumption that all the moderates and liberals that voted for AS would have voted for McClintock. I think not. I know a lot of state employees that were fed up with Davis but NOT about to vote for McClintock.
