I fear you have yet to understand the advise and consent part of judge nominations.What don't I understand? It takes 60 votes to force cloture to any bill and force a vote in the Senate, not just judicial nominees.

As I said you do not understand that this isn't done on judicial nominees.You can't adjust,add to or change a nominee like you can a bill and compromise.
It's a solid Dem move to please their base.They approved a lot of judges,decided they would not allow others and have held their ground.
