Right now all the Bush supporters are using national security as the boogie-man to keep disgruntled supporters in line.

Indeed. Bush using this as the boogie-man. YES indeedie, she says, DRIPPING with sarcasm.

I just think the WOT thing has been pushed a little too much as a reelection reason because Dubya supporters have little else to fall back on.

And your point is? You think a Dem is going to want this to happen? Who was Prez when this happened? Did it make a difference? As I recall, at the time Dubya was more concerned with amnesty for illegals than securing the border. Life has changed as a result of 9/11 and any prez will be a little more concerned with security be he a dem or a rep.
