Excellent reminder, and before we give Bush to much grief over immigration and spending we must remember it has taken over half a century of two steps forward and one step backward to get the liberal mindset into America. If Bush tries to change it overnight we will have a Democrat in office in 2004. It will be a long slow process of two steps forward and one step backward for conservatives to get the country back on track. Remember Kerry would have been treated as a traitor not a serious candidate for President in 1950. Push to hard and we will have a stampede in the wrong direction.

I hope that he starts a fast and quiet dismantling of a few liberal programs after his reelection. Maybe he can deal them a blitzkrieg rather quickly and let things cool off in time for the next Rep to handily win '08.
