SEATTLE--Gov. Gary Locke announced Sunday his endorsement of Sen. John Kerry, the Democrats' national front-runner for the presidential nomination.

"John Kerry has the right priorities for Washington state," Locke said in a news release. "He understands that the people of Washington want good jobs, affordable health care, public schools and universities that are second to none. His experience and leadership skills will get our state and our country back on track."

Kerry is scheduled to visit the Seattle area on Tuesday, campaign spokeswoman Alixandria Wade said Sunday.

On Friday, Kerry picked up endorsements from Washington's senior House member, Rep. Norm Dicks, and Rep. Rick Larsen, D-Wash.

Democratic Sen. Patty Murray has said she will stay out of the pre-convention battle among the seven presidential hopefuls.

Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., and much of the state Democratic leadership, including party Chairman Paul Berendt, have endorsed Howard Dean.

The former Vermont governor visited Seattle on Saturday, welcomed by a crowd of more than 1,400 people.

Washington's precinct caucuses, which begin the process of electing 78 national convention delegates, will be held Feb. 7.

Yeah, Gary Locke, the governor who shortly after being elected his first term, went to China with his wife to explore their roots at taxpayers expense. Gary Locke, with the demonRAT leadership in 2002, slyly tried to foist off a $.09 gas increase onto the Washington taxpayers without having a vote of the people to pay for the many programs in the budget without cutting the budget. The proposal failed in November 2002. After the election of 2002, Pubbies took control of the Senate. In January 2003, Gary Locke, the RAT-controlled House and the Pub-controlled Senate met behind closed doors, and worked out a deal to pass a $.05 gas tax without a vote of the people, making Washington one of the highest gas tax in the West. Immediately afterwards, he implemented his PR. The citizens of the state would recoup the $.05 in 10 years, but the truth came out indicating it would take at least 35 years to recoup the $.05. Yeah, Gary Locke with his co-hort in crime, State Sen. Lisa Brown, cried so pitifully in the press about not have enough money to increase health benefits for illegal alien pregnant mothers, who already receive FREE health care while many state residents don't have any health care. What part of "illegal" don't they understand? Yeah, Gary Locke who pushed and received for illegal aliens resident tuition at public universities and colleges while many American citizens can't afford to attend an institution of higher learning. All in the name of diversity is the excuse. With the hundreds of millions of American citizens, Gary Locke and group can't find diversity in our citzenship but need to find criminals for diversity. Yeah Gary Locke refused to cut spending. In January 2003, the revenues were $21 billion, and expenditures were $22 billion. The state faced at $1 billion shortfall. But did Gary Locke cut? Oh no, he and the legislature passed a $23 billion budget. Immediately afterwards, Locke's PR went into effect indicating that a new budget was passed without any taxes being raised. A $2.6 billion dollar gap was filled without raising taxes? A supernatural miracle occurred. Even though Gary Locke isn't running for a 3rd term (frankly the state can't afford any more of his efforts--Boeing can vouch for this), I fully expect him to be hired as a lobbyist for the nation of China or a Chinese multi-national corporation when he goes into private arena. Gary Locke, son of Chinese immigrants, supporting Kerry who knowingly took money from the Chinese military (see earlier post Kerry Took Cash from Chinese Military Intelligence NewsMax | 2/2/04 | Limbacher)--Chinese still dipping their fingers into American politics.

Yeah, Gary Locke, the governor who shortly after being elected his first term, went to China with his wife to explore their roots at taxpayers expense.

But he brought back business to Washington! Specifically, a company in Washington is now printing the official Chinese Govt Commie Propoganda newspaper, or some such foolishness.

Maybe Kerry will get the taxpayers to fund another "big dig" to China.

This guy stole my family's name. The Locke Family originated here in the US in North Carolina and Massachusetts and were Congressmen, Senators and Supreme Court Members. Elizabeth Dole is a descendant (big deal) but most are conservative and Republican and have been since the inception of the Republican Party. This guy is an impostor.

Believe me, if my single vote could have ousted this sucker, this guy would have been long gone before he could have done his communistic damage. I still think once he leaves office that he'll be either a high-paid lobbyist like former Speaker of the House Tom Foley or a CEO of some multi-national corporation with Chinese links. Rarely does he hire someone that is not of Chinese background.
