Sounds about right.

But massive use only began in mid-60's. (Our first AC in my south TX house was in about 66 or 67, for example. Further north, AC use would be even later than that.)

Thanks God, the russian scientists could be saved by chopper. The Arctic swallowing a research station ... a vision that couldn't be any longer a surprise, the latest after this thread.
But who would have guessed that the vision would become reality 6 months later, at the beggining of March ?
