A loophole? Look, Kerry was honorably discharged. So was Bush. Just drop it.

Jmstein7 is just illustrating absurdity by being absurd.

The burden of proof is on the Democrats to show Bush was AWOL. They'll never be able to prove it, because Bush was never AWOL. The Democrats can sure dish it out, but they can't take it when it comes biting them on the backside.

Anybody hear about 21 Vietnamese shot at close range and its connection to Kerry? May be right before he was removed/transferred.

I hadn't heard that, but I know Kerry commanded a patrol boat on the Meekong Delta. The harrowing sinking patrol boat rescue was made famous in the movie Apocalypse Now.

I saw Bob Beckel on FNC this morning, stating emphatically that Bush is a deserter. He used that word.

Kerry's wounds didn't even make him miss one day of work.

That doesn't matter...he has the three Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. He technically qualifies to be called a hero and he is shameless enough to wrap himself in that mantle.

The American people are going to honor his service in Viet Nam no matter what...his traitorous activity after the war is the card we need to play. Over and over and over. His activity after the war was despicable and unforgivable.

Well old wise one, I guess you're going to have to explain what point I missed. Have at it.

Part of the attack on Bush is that he left the guard early to attend Harvard. Which he did, and yes it wasn't unusual at that time. Barney's sister was babbling about it the other night on the O'reilly show.

"Kerry taking an opt out is hardly 'desertion.'"

No $h!t. We ALL wanted early outs.

Then you have proudly placed yourself at the same level as those who pose questionable charges against Bush.

Goose, meet gander.

"Link/source?"

You didn't waste any time demanding a link and source did you? It's highlighted at the very top of the page(Boston Globe)!

You didn't waste any time jumping to the conclusion that the source was there when this thread was started. It wasn't. Look at the first dozen posts. I can read.

Don't get me wrong, I loathe Kerry, but his actions, like those of W, were within the law. We should focus our criticism on legitimate issues, not stretches of credibility. Believe me, it is a target rich environment.

I consider John Freakin' Kerry a "MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE"! His votes to cut the intelligence capability and the military were precisely what his friends wanted.

His testimony on the designed and willing atrocities by the military of the United States at the direction of the government is treasonous. I wonder if he gave this testimony under oath? If he did, then he should be tried for perjury.

OOPS, I forgot perjury laws don't apply to DEMOCRAPS!

I have a question on the 3 Purple Hearts awarded and the paperwork involved. I was at numerous PJ pinnings of the medal and was not aware that you could get them numerous times for minimal injuries. How many did Max Cleland get for 2 legs and one arm? One? The rule the Navy has for 3 PH awards have anything to do with early out? My questions are legit as I had to do a year and a day and it was a crappy assignment

You should be aware that CalKat is a sleeper troll we believe.

Do an in forum search of her posts and you will see that she consistently takes the contrary, anti-Bush view. She's subtle, but she's a troll.
