McAwful is one sorry f_ck if he thinks the National Guard isn't the military. One of my brothers, a proud member of the Oklahoma Nat'l. Guard, served in Gulf War I. My other brother, a member of the Michigan Nat'l Guard, just left for a stint in Bosnia as a UN Peacekeeper. So Terry McAwful can kiss my ass. My brothers combined have faced more real danger in their lives than Terry has seen driving through the streets of DC.

And John Kerry's remarks this weekend about how some 'joined the national guard' to avoid the Vietnam War should be played over, and over, and over again to every single soldier and American out there. It shows that liberals like John Kerry can turn serving your country into an elitist fraternity.

These people (Kerry, McAwful, Dems...) are disgusting, awful, and yes...UNPATRIOTIC!!!

All you have to do is remember back to 2000 in FL and how low they went to actively disqualify and "NOT COUNT" the votes of our military service people.

Mike called me last night from Iraq and I told him of McAwful's statement that *Bush did not serve in the military*...Mike said, *so the Guard is not military, then WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE*?

Mike also made an interesting point...if Kerry is elected come Jan 04 God help the troops in Iraq, they will either be pulled out, or under NATO or the UN's control....all we've accomplished will have been for nothing.

I demand an apology from the DNC.

Amen...I agree completely. My father has served in the Guard for the past 34 yearsand is currently serving in Iraq. The American people definitely need to wake up. If Kerry is elected President, we are all in a world of trouble. He preaches "Bring our soldiers home"...great, but I am proud of what my dad is doing for me and my country. I hate he is gone and worry everyday, but I know that he is doing what he loves to do, Love of God and Country. Kerry is a jackass and does not deserve the freedom that the men and women of this Country's National Guard so valiently defend. Maybe he should be appointed to the security council in Iraq. Since he prides himself on being such a "soldier", maybe he should stop hiding behind his wife's money and grow a set.
