Of course the cash didn't induce him to block the legislation.
He did it on his own because this legislation would have been very bad for the country, excactly how of course, he can't articulate.

This Kerry is a true piece of work. Votes for the war, then says he was against it. Same with the Patriot Act.
He thinks he can be all things to all people, like Slick Willie. He's mistaken... Slick had the charm to pull it off. Kerry, by contrast, is about as charming as... well, I'd rather not say.
I am beginning to think that the Democrats would be better off with someone like Wesley Clark. No record to run againsy.
