"KEYES: Oh, I sure do--and I wouldn't want to give the impression that I don't have other problems with this administration on some areas where I think that the president has fallen short of the kinds of things that I really think are needed in some areas."

"But I also wouldn't want to give the impression that I think that anything can be more decisive for the American people right now than the question of our national survival in the face of the most insidious threat this nation has ever faced."

If we allow the Democrats to retake the White House, we allow them to surrender the war on terror. Our very survival as a nation depends on this fight. George W Bush has proven that he will not shirk his duty as commander-in-chief. All other issues pale in importance when compared to this.

Why is not this orator of immense talent put to use countering the bull of the dem/media cabal? He could neutralize the opposition in about one news cycle.

Wake up Bush administration--you have stumbled badly, now get the thoroughbreds to the mark.

You are only going to get that you worry about and MORE in spades from any Democrat.

Does it stink? You bet. But I'm still keen on not getting blown up. And the threat to our liberties is wildly exaggerated.

Its getting pretty obvious that, this next term, we will have some Supreme Court nominations upcoming. We have to ask ourselves, are any differences we have with George Bush so overwhelming that we are willing to allow John Kerry or John Edwards to appoint those justices instead?

We know that George Bush won't go to NARAL/NOW to annoint a nominee but we darn well know that any of the Democrats will.

I think Alan Keyes has made that calculation and I know I have.

Those who would argue gridlock are living in some fantasy world. We either defeat the enemy now, on our terms, on their lands, or we suffer greatly on their schedule and on our soil. Appeasement does not work. You cannot negotiate with terrorists and you cannot hide from them. They must be destroyed. A Democrat in the White House at this time of grave peril for our nation's very survival is unthinkable!

I wouldn't want to even try and predict or comprehend the real people a Pres Kerry would appoint to his cabinet.

And, of course, the GOP in Congress would approve everyone of them because they like to play nice.

Since it's widely reported that no one likes Kerry, I wonder who he'd get in those positions.

I wonder if he'd offer anything to Bill Clinton...keep your enemies closer type deal.

And I wonder if it would help his wife's portfolio if the government treated ketchup as a vegetable again, of which it is - I never understood that straw man.

Just remember that freak show Clinton called a cabinet and lower the bar 5 notches for Kerry's.

And if the President expands entitlement programs and drags the party in the direction of socialism, is his re-election worth the price?

More to the point:

Is it worth it to risk his reelection over it?

I'm not asking you; I'm rhetorically asking President Bush.

Glad Keyes is on board, though.

Can you really ask that? Have you forgotten what it was like for those 8 years under the Clinton administration? Is this really worse than that?

Close your eyes and imagine three new Ruth Bader-Ginsburg's on the court for a generation. Imagine them approved by NARAL. Imagine John Edwards appointing trial lawyers to every court in the land. Imagine Barbara Streisand and Michael Moore at the inauguration because you can bet your butt they will be there on the Capitol steps grinning. Get ready for Dixie Chicks at the inauguration ball. Get ready for Europe to fall in love with our new leader. Get ready for the media to start talking about how wonderful the economy is. You know how it will be. Is it really that bad?

If you vote third party, or you don't go vote, please don't come here and complain about Barbara and Michael or Hillary as Supreme Court justice. Seriously don't.

I voted for Keyes in the 2000 primary....

Bush is better than any Democrat on the war.... but I wish Bush was a conservative...

I don't call myself a Republican anymore.

we're not supposed to complain, even if Bush brings back slavery or concentration camps.. we're supposed to smile and nod.

FREE healthcare for all... all hail Bush

Full citizenship for anyone who sneaks across the border... all hail Bush

Another billion for the UN... all hail Bush

more money for the NEA... all hail Bush

We have to agree or the Dubya cops will call us liberals for opposing liberal programs.

Someone has a gun to all our heads, and you're more worried about the 28 cents you'll have to fork over to fund classical music concerts for children than you are about that.

Nothing much matters if you're not alive.

Not true. Bush is as conservative as Reagan and in some areas more so.
