How did those four judges get on the MA bench? That is a great question. They were aided and abbeded by liberal college professors, liberal politicians and liberal traitors. This isn't just a criticism of you, but why do people say "liberal," when they are talking about people who are socialists, communists, or some other kind of radical?

kat, it cannot possibly be constitutional in Massachusetts, or any other state of the union, for a court to force a legislature to pass law to suit the whims of that court. It is as blatant a violation of the separation of powers as can be imagined. Why can't the Massachusetts Legislature simply ignore the Supreme Judicial Court?

Who invented marriage? What does he say about it?

When oh when will some elected executive officer in some state or federal capacity, in fulfilling his constitutional duty to honestly interpet the constitution (federal or state) just disregard the unconstitutional rulings of any court and dare the legislature to impeach him for it? When will some legislature impeach just ONE judge for an unconstitutional ruling?
To say that the courts have the final word on the constitutionality of a law NO MATTER WHAT THEY RULE is to say that the system of checks and balances envisioned by the founders does not exist any more.
Massachuttsets does not have the right to redefine marriage for 49 other states.

I agree. But, the federal government does not have the right to tell Massachusetts how to define marriage within that state. At most, a constitutional amendment should say that no state is required to recognize the marriages of any other state.
(If some state allows first cousins to marry, and another state finds that to be totally against public policy, must the second state recognize that marriage?)
