Surely you are not implying that support of Bush is akin to the support of the Rapist in Chief????? Surely you're not putting words in his mouth, Torquemada?????

Wonder how Bush's efforts to fill our roads with Mexican 18-wheelers is going? I know he was real busy and energetic on that score--did he get what he wanted?

I really have to laugh at you. You come on here and attack/accuse others of things they haven't done while you rant and rave like a nut. Can you say "hypocrisy"?
To: Southflanknorthpawsis; Ima Lurker
It's not surprising that you missed the point of what I said. I advised the poster of what the mood is around here toward inadvertently helping Democrats. The warning is not mine.....it came from the top. Really now?
It's been ratcheted up now to off-with-their-heads for INADVERTENTLY "helping democrats"?
I thought it was for intentionally doing so. Damn, I missed another memo, eh, Torquemada?
By the way, I wouldn't go investing in any neckware myself if I were you either, Torquemada, given the wonton rate at which you're alienating undecided voters.
I know, I know... you don't want to alienate voters. I mean, it is "inadvertent" and all. But hey, under the new rules, what can I say? Tough break, dude. Next time, watch it with those INADVERTENT things.

Since when are 40/50/60/70 year olds juveniles? When they stop jumping up and down in pom-poms, going "rah-rah", and saying stuff like, "Oh, don't bore me with any of those complicated things that don't really matter. I mean, just look in his eyes, they're sooooo dreamy! How anyone could not vote for him is like soooooo immature! Rilly! Rilly rilly immature!"

How bad does it have to get? What makes you think there's a limit to how bad it can get?
Well, I guess there's sort of an inherent safety valve. I mean, it probably can't get much worse than it is in Mexico.

"When they behave like juveniles, wanting everything now and throw a virtual tanturm when they don't get it."
They don't want everything now, they wanted it over the past 3 1/2 years. They did not want CFR, the federalization of education, etc. Those are things that could have been easily handled. They are not the ones that are juveniles and throwing the tantrums, people like you are the ones that are acting that way.
"Well then, what are they?"
How can you be a single issue voter, when the issues are more than one? CFR, extending AWB, illegal amnesty proposal, federalization of education, expanding government, increased non-military spending, increased funding for NEA, etc. hmmmmm, nope does not equal one.

I wonder how you deal with women? Most of them recover in a couple of days....
Sounds like you're one of the afore mentioned juveniles.

Where did I advocate denying Bush re-election? For those who do, our only hope of changing their mind is to listen to their concerns and try to reason with them. Not allowing those people to speak and name calling only adds to the problem. Democrats are really out to get Bush and will vote enmasse this year. Disinfranchised Republicans will stay home. It is up to us to to see that that doesn't happen. Shutting these people out will not solve the problem.
To: Southflanknorthpawsis; looscnnn
Hmmmm. Who might that be? Is there a third party guy that is poised to be elected by the voters of this country in November? Well, I guess you're right.
That leaves us the sole option of holding the incumbent's feet to the fire. Except, any time anyone even hints at it, you're all over 'em like a cheap suit.
Conclusion: You're likely a DU distupter, here for the purpose of frustrating, intimidating, and alienating longtime GOP voters.

It's interesting to look back at post #45 (where I believe you entered this thread) and see how you began, what you accused others of, and how you have continued to post from that point on.
One could almost think you are joking, but I think we know you aren't.
And you two-percenters actually think you will someday win people over. ROFL !!!!!!!
To: Mamzelle
According to ME? I asked you for suggestions, ideas. What I get is your problem with ME.
Don't take it personally. Torquemada attacks everyone who fails his personal loyalty test. He also likes to put words in their mouths before judging their loyalty. It makes the process so much easier, and the results so much more certain.

Just as busy and energetic as his other proposal he wants; illegal immigrant amnesty (oh sorry, guest worker program).

Shutting these people out will not solve the problem. I'm sorry I don't share your optimism about "these people". They sang the same tune in November of 2000.
Their politics is to be contrary, period. I'm sure there are some exceptions, but for the most part, their lot in life is to never accept anything but perfection. If that is the only formula for success, we are in real trouble.
To: Southflanknorthpawsis
Thank you for proving my point, Torquie.
