I heard The President's speech at the National Prayer Breakfast this morning. He pointedly referenced a soldier for his charitable work while on leave from Iraq.
The soldier was with the NATIONAL GUARD. He mentioned NATIONAL GUARD at least three times. It was great. He's started the campaign on a great note. Go on the offense.
Uh, Terry McAuliffe, just how is the National Guard not serving in the military?????

SAid if some politicians had their way, SAddam would still be in power. Going to Iraq was the right thing to do.

Here's some of what Pres. Bush has said:
Found labs, dual use facilities. We know he was developing the deivery systems. Prohibited missile system. Saddam had the INTENT to arm his regime with WMD. Saddam had something else.,a record of using WMD against.
Knowing what I knew then and knowing what I know today, America did the right thing in Iraq!!
We had a choice, either take word of madman or take action to defend America. Faced with that choice I will defed American everytime.
9-11-01 lesson for America. Lesson nation must never forget. We can't wait to confront threats of the world. We can't wait to confront them until they arrive in our own cities. I won't stand by and hope for the best while dangers gatther.
I won't take risks with lives of American people I will protect and defend by taking the fight to the enemhy.
When you are the CIC you have to be willing to nake the tough calls and see your decisions through. That is the only way I know how to lead. Some politicians had their way, Saddam would still be in power, all UN resolutions would still be ignored. Other regimes and terror networks would hafe concluded America backs down when things get tough.
And life would sure be different for the Iraqis. Secret police arresting in the nights, prisons, torture chambers, mass graves.
Because we acted that nightmare is over.

Just wait until we know the Dem candidate outcome. Looks like Kerry and Edwards right now. Will Kerry move over for Hillary in 2008 or will he come up with a heart condition?
