This is outrageous. Now must every interview be rebutted? Prebutted? The media is as looney as the left.
Pray for the integrity of Tim Russert/NBC and for President Bush.
The latter is easy, the former.....well I hope I don't have to issue an oxymoron alert. :)

Isn't that sad? The only thing we ask for is integrity from the opposing party... and we are so used to the lacking of it that we look for divine intervention ;-)

A bit of integrity from the media would be a refreshing change too. I tell you, I get more disgusted with each passing day.
9+ months until election day. This is already starting to feel like second stage labor. sheesh

Well, I am not feeling well so have been in bed most of the day. I watched a bad Lifetime movie but did surf during commercials and saw the euphoria over Kerry. Then I get up and read this about "analyzing" the president's appearance, and simultaneously Chrissy Matthews has a panel on. Evidently he'd just shown clips of the interview (I missed those) and his panel had Peggy Noonan against 4 or 5, if you count Chris Matthews.
Does everybody know by now that young Ron Reagan has been hauled out to be an MSNBC analyst? I first saw him during the NH primary, and tonight there was no mistake which side he's on...Kerry.
I confess, I am depressed and disgusted because to me the media isn't even assuming a pretense of fairness. They are full bore anti-Bush, and so pro-Kerry it makes my already sick head reel.

Well, so much for the integrity of Tim Russert/NBC. President Bush will be spun into a liar and an idiot before the show airs tomorrow.
Quite frankly, I feared analysts being allowed to preview the tape in preparation for their appearance on MtP, but wasn't wise enough to anticipate an attack before the show even aired.
Ron Reagan is in the leftist camp whether the nominee is Kerry or not.

One more note, windchime, so you get a flavor: I gathered one clip was of Russert asking President Bush if he will fire Tenet and the president said no, Tenet has his full confidence.
Matthews told Peggy Noonan that was no leader. She said "I disagree". Poor Peggy was drowned out by the disparaging chuckles directed at her and in agreement with Chris.
Sickening.

I will try to catch this on re-run tonight....if I can stand it. I know the chuckles you're talking about. They began with the X42 campaign/administration. They are the same derisive..oh, so much more intelligent than you..chuckles that they also use to evade responding to questions posed to them.
Loyalty and confidence are really hilarious qualities, aren't they. I trust President Bush to know more about Tenet's service than I do.
Yes, sickening.
