There's no way the White House didn't know this tape existed a few days ago.
GWB really is one heck of a poker player.

I am not sure how much this, if true, will help. We already know Saddam was paying families of suicide bombers and the Dems are unfazed. This terrorist group he is pictured with is connected with Osama then it will help. If not it, I'm afaid it will fizzle.

If this tape is proved genuine, The Dems #1 Campaign issue has just been totally completely and utterly destroyed.
Guess we now know why Dubya picked this Sunday to appear on Meet the Press and face questions about Iraq and why we went to war.
Could it be that once again the Dimbos have misunderestimated Dubya's strategery.

Why do you need "incontrovertible proof?" Saddam admitted it publicly, repeatedly bragging about support for terrorists, offering and delivering $25,000 per successful job.

New footage has been released purporting to show Saddam Hussein paying large sums of money to a terrorist group. This couldn't be related to the War on Terror...

It'll be interesting to see what comes of this. One would think that Blair or the Defense Secretary or Foreign Secretary would be the ones to announce it. But perhaps there is a reason why they chose her.
At any rate, well worth watching as it develops.
Politics would be so much simpler and less tedious this year if these initial claims are substantiated beyond question. Everyone, even France, could put all this behind us.
