We just have to refuse to allow this stuff into the home. I was a bit heartened to hear that a school in Orange County CA told MTV they would now not allow them to film some "reality" at their school. Parental uproar. Orange County. Imagine.

Thats a start. It's also important not to avoid the responsibility of talking to and teaching your kids (any any of their friends who you have their ear) how you feel and think on the subject matter. Being a lazy parent is why so many kids are allowed to emulate what they see on TV and hear on the radio.
