Indeed, Felos is an excellent marketeer. If you can find very old articles about Terri, prior to MS's pursuit of her death, you'll find that they are just dripping with compassion for her, for him, etc. Now that they want to starve the defenseless woman to death, she is 'in a coma', she is 'hopeless' and Felos himself likened her to a house plant. Can you dig that? A houseplant.

There is a marked effort to dehumanize Terri in the eyes of the public and it's nothing more than marketing in my opinion. Why is her hair cut off? She has daily showers so long hair is no problem. Why doesn't she have street clothes anymore? Why is no one allowed to put a dab of lipstick on her? Because they do not want her to appear as she is - in there.

Why does Felos use terms like 'abducted from her death bed' and 'subject to a surgical procedure against her will'. If I'm not mistaken, the removal of her feeding tube was done without the official okey-dokey from Terri, so isn't THAT against her will?

The language is what really gives these people away and the press seems to have fallen for it. If you search out the Orlando Sentinel or the St Pete Times, you'll find oodles of articles and opinion pieces all singing the praises of ending this woman's life. You're not likely to find too many that are empathetic, let alone questioning all the irregularities in her court cases.

It makes me want to scream.

You're right in that it is stunning that people don't see this. But, sadly, many only see what is in print and take it for gospel without really doing their homework. When you start telling them all the bits and pieces that have lead up to this moment, they drop their jaws in disbelief.

Do you find it as hard to believe that we have become a nation of non-thinkers? I can hardly believe how many people are happy to be just spoon-fed information, without looking into things further. So many accept everything at face value! I am amazed, and angered by it, too!
