Some top Clinton administration officials wanted to end the Kosovo war abruptly in the summer of 1999 -- at almost any cost -- because the presidential campaign of then-Vice President Al Gore was about to begin, former NATO commander Gen. Wesley Clark says in his official papers, the WASHINGTON POST is set to report in Saturday editions, according to newsroom sources...

'There were those in the White House who said, `Hey, look, you gotta finish the bombing before the Fourth of July weekend. That's the start of the next presidential campaign season, so stop it. It doesn't matter what you do, just turn it off. You don't have to win this thing, let it lie...' Developing Hard...

Well, we just have to get that bunch back in the White House! They sure had their priorities in order.

The entire Kosovo war was a setup. It was phoney from the beginning, it was based on nothing. It accomplished two things: it got Bill and Monica off the front page and it encouraged the Islamofascists to carry out the 9/11 plot. The far-reaching ramifications of the debacle in Kosovo is that it opened the back door of Europe to the Islamic hordes. That commie-inspired NATO crew led by that Spanish commie are going to rue the day they bombed Serbia.

Clark trying to pass the buck for Kosovo, something he's been touting, onto the Dean endorsing Gore?

Odd story. What's the motivation. Don't doubt it happened. Clinton's admin was narcissistic to a fault.
