Think that those of us who post threads a lot should make sure we keep a copy of the entire article in our own records so if someone has a need to see the complete article they can Freep Mail us. That way when it disappears from the WP site, we will still have the article if needed. Pain to do but I would be more than willing to keep a copy of the entire article for the future since we cannot post the complete article.
All we have to do is burn a CD with the original and the FR link while excerpting it here on FR. We can put a note to contact us for the full article if it is needed.

I think there's an effort underway somewhere to archive the entire Internet (yes, that's right - every version of every web page) - and I don't remember the details, except that it involved some of the people who were busily restoring Usenet postings dating back to its inception in the mid-80's.
Eventually, if something like that occurs, any archive should become available (although possibly not for free), even if the originating source no longer makes it available.
