Is the Republican campaign slogan going to be "Employ Yourself"? I have trouble seeing how Bush and the rest are going say "look at all the jobs we created" when people are out there creating their own jobs. It is strange how we Republicans like to talk about economies of scale on one hand, yet we promote just the opposite when our open borders / unilateral free trade policy mortgages middle class America.

No - they don't "create" any jobs. The supply side theory is to free capital for the people to create jobs. Trade is another problem that's been around for the last forty-five years or so and there is no quick fix. People are too happy buying cheap stuff from Chinese sweat shops to stop now.
