I thought wolves were being reintroduced into the national parks and if they wandered out of a restricted protected range and killed they were either killed or returned,

No there are alot more, and alot more to the story.

I live at the opposite end of the state and we are seeing our elk and moose herds decimated.

But even if it was just Yellowstone, I hate to see them kill all the other wild life.

"But even if it was just Yellowstone, I hate to see them kill all the other wild life."

That is just gross exaggeration, imo. In fact, Mr Kunkel of th Turner Fund, quoted in the original article of this thread disputes what you say. He says there will be a cycle of elk depletion and then cougar and wolf reduction and then growth of the elk herd etc.

I wonder if you aware that carnivorous animals eat other animals? They kill them and eat them. Are you aware that eagles kill rabbits and tear off pieces of flesh and muscle and eat them? The way you write about the blood and gore that wolves produce has me wondering if you think that flesh eating animals are the worst thing that was ever created? Is that your view?

As I have said several times, I just don't have a problem with the fact that wolves are predators. They kill elk and eat them. Racoons can be extremely vicious. Have you ever seen or heard of racoons killing cats? Do you think it is wrong that animals kill and eat other animals?
