Oh, and it was suggested to me by another pro-wolf person that livestock be guarded by MULES! LOL

Now I know mules are ornery but come on! If wolves will take down an antlered elk, I don't think a mule has much of a chance either.

Actually in Russia they used to use pigs. They would carry a small pig or two in the sleigh with them and when the wolf pack attacked the pig would be thrown out while the sleigh was driven to safety.

Most of us that post are not really anti-wolf, we just don't want to see them in places were they compete with man. This includes ranchers and hunters. A lot of our post are in response to people who feel like we are all trained killers, who torture wolf cubs, and want to exterminate the entire breed from the face of the earth. A lot of my post are in jest because there are some people I just can't take serious.

You may want to research that and see just how ornery mules are. A good kick is deadly to a wolf. And you may not know this but wolves avoid injury. They just don't take unneccessary risks.
