I agree. Another thing that I like is that a lot of his foreign correspondent work has the feel of a travelogue, giving you glimpes of the every day culture of ordinary people. For me, once you've seen one of Saddam's palaces, you've seen them all. I'm more interested in seeing chickens scoot across a courtyard & learning what is growing in the garden.

Yeah, he's not a war correspondent at all. His stories are all about Geraldo. Here's were Geraldo slept. Here's were Geraldo ate. Here's where Geraldo unflinchingly faced mortal danger.

He's not a good one either. His one main goal is to get face time. He has been known to 'dramatize' the report while he is giving it. He has been caught lying about his location while giving a report.
Geraldo loves the lime light... and will do anything to get it.

I agree, Geraldo does a pretty good job, and he's really for the troops. Not bad for a lib.
