First I know this is an emotional issue but leave it out of this argument and be logical. Does it really look presidential for the president to be refuting petty questions as to whether or not he went AWOL, he's the president!!!! Just say you served your time and thats it. Don't dip into the other guys actual combat experience, because in all honesty Kerry does have a better combat experience compared to Bush. That is why we need to get the hell away from this. We need to set out a plan for the future not on whose Balls are bigger.

If we stay talking about this subject it will just catch on more and more and more until it sticks to him and we lose. Don't fall for this just ignore it.

What really needs to be done is for Bush to simply say "I lived up to my obligation" - and then divert the attention to what's been done since 'Nam - Kerry has plenty of things to hide there, and if the Republicans would concentrate on that, the AWOL crap would go away.

That's exactly what the President did this morning. He said he served his time, the records are open, and this is all just politics. Well, it is. And he shouldn't have to answer anything else about it. But by dismissing it this way won't make the charge go away. They'll just yell louder and repeat it longer so that more of the sheeple believe. Damned if you do; damned if you don't.

Maybe you just ignore it, and likewise Kerry's actions upon his return. But those of us who were over there find it very tough to give Kerry a pass on this, even if we must push it aside to focus on today and tomorrow.

The liberals want us to stay away from Kerry's Vietnam record (that is, away from his anti-Vietnam record). And you are asking us to play by the liberals' rules? Nonsense. Beat that jerk to death with his anti-war record, his phony "throwing away his medals" photo op, his unblemished anti-CIA voting record, his unblemished anti-new-weapons voting record, and then get nasty: beat him with his murder of women and children in Vietnam.
