Ah, my friend; you need to go back and read some history. Virtually EVERY leftist regime in history, once it came to power, disarmed its people. The reason was clear: Take away the peoples' means to resist, and they become like sheep; remove the means for fighting a revolution and the battle is more than half won.

Our current Leftists are not terrified by the 2d amendment and that has nothing to do with what Leftist regimes have done (and Rightist regimes too.) You are arguing a different point than I made.
