Islam "is not a religion, it is a way of life . . ." Cool.
Islam is NOT protected by the freedom of religion clause in the Constitution and we can pass laws against it!

The Constitution of The United States guarantees their religious freedom. Their religion requires them to kill Americans. Training for those killings is also a requirement. So really we're just arresting them for practicing their religion. I wonder if the jury will buy that.

What beyond paintball, did any of them do?
Documents to blow up something? Any sinister weapons & materials, beyond paintball?
IE, just what denotes an conspiracy?

Six others have pleaded guilty to various charges and some have been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison. Looks like our little friend over at Akin got the worst of the lot- didn't her client get 10 years? Wouldn't that suggest that he was one of the most culpable in the bunch?
Denial is so wonderful.

What beyond paintball, did any of them do? The paintball was just a front for them to practice small unit tactics. Their goal was (supposedly) to go fight the Indians in Kashmir.
IE, just what denotes an conspiracy?
A conspiracy requires an agreement to commit a crime (in this case, violation of the Neutrality Act) plus one overt action (in this case, playing paintball).
