Some things are innapropriate in certain circumstances. Using your power as the pilot of an airplane to advance your religious beliefs on a captive audience is, in my view, rude.

Well, ok. No, it's rude for other people to prohibit Christians from publicly espousing their religion. It wasn't a revival, it was one comment, and one question. Maybe you're just troubled that it was Christian in nature because you've forgotten that God wants Christians to share the good word. If this had been a muslim, I would have been very shocked about it, because we're at war with muslims. That would have been inappropriate on a completely different level, one of patriotism. Any other religion would have been ok, though.

Yes I would be alright if he were a Muslim pilot suggesting (not commanding) a topic of discussion. If a socialist asked people to discuss "the joys of John Kerry" it doesn't mean that we would have to. I don't believe he was "using his power as the pilot of an airplane" to advance his religious beliefs. He suggested a topic and let the people decide if they wanted to participate. It's called freedom of choice. It is American, and no one was injured by it. Hopefully, people were saved by it!

It's no use. It was tried on the previous 600 post thread. They are incapable of rationality on this topic. They hear the word "Christian" and believe any word or deed associated in any way with "Christianity" is good and righteous and unassailable. Don't waste your breath on them. They will never get it and if they did get it they would never admit it.
