CNN’s Wolf Blitzer played a clip of it for Bush aide Dan Bartlett, but when Bartlett started laughing Blitzer scolded him for not taking Gore seriously: “You're laughing. Why are you laughing? He's making a very serious allegation against the President.”

Why is he laughing, Wolf? Because CRAZY PEOPLE are FUN to watch. In case you hadn't noticed, Wolf, Algore is acting like a complete LOON!!!

“You're laughing. Why are you laughing?"

Possibly because Algore's political career is starting to stink like a month-dead mackerel in the Calcutta sun...

Boortz played this on his radio show this morning. It sounded FUNNY! The dying wailing of a man who knows that his time in the spotlight has faded and now he just creates noise in the background. He also said that Al Gore is fatter than a downer cow now.

Kindly allow me to explain it in such a way that even you might understand it, Wolfie:

YEEEEEAAAARRRRRRRRRGHHHHH!!!!! :)

Gore was just trying to out due Dean by giving the 'Gore Scream' speech.

Maybe Naomi Wolfe has been giving Algore lessons on how to screech like an Alpha male.

I'll also point out that Kerry's reaction to every substantive criticism is to do a fake laugh and claim the charge is so ridiculous as to be funny. Personally, I don't find slashing defense at times of war to be a joke.

The democrats are totally offensive, disloyal and out of control. If I fault the republicans it's for not expressing outrage at their over the top partisan tactics. Such as saying Iraq is a disaster when we won in 3 weeks, have lost far fewer soldiers total than dems were losing WEEKLY IN VIETNAM, and our troops are still in the field and need to be supported. And not just with lip service, as the dems actually make irresponsible and demoralizing charges.

Morton Kondracke, however, on FNC’s Special Report with Brit Hume, was appalled: “I think we can all really thank God that Al Gore was not elected President of the United States. I question whether this man is stable in a crisis. I mean, he’s clearly out of control of his words...” Noting how Gore alleged that Bush has “betrayed the country,” Kondracke, a columnist for Roll Call, referred to that as an instance of Gore “saying wild things” that are “beyond the bounds” and “irrational.”

Moooooor-TON!

I was shocked to see quasi-liberal Morton say this, but was even more shocked when Mara Liasson of NPR essentially agreed with him!

CBS’s Byron Pitts seemed to admire Gore’s rant as he set up a soundbite by observing: “Often criticized for being stiff when he was a candidate, he was anything but last night.”

Perhaps this performance was an overcorrection to his stiffness.

Gore trying to sound like Sharpton is hilarious.

Dole recovered from his election loss by pitching Viagra.
Gore could pitch Zoloft.

Does anybody remember in the 1992 campaign when Al Gore said "if they [the Bush administration] are such whizzes at foreign policy, how come Saddam Hussein is still in power? ". I guess W is a whiz at foreign policy. :)

You've gotta realize that the media will LET fools like Gore get away with this because they KNOW *they* are to blame for Dean's downfall- for repeating his Iowa rant, over, and over, and over again.

If it weren't for the (liberal) media, Howard Dean would still be the front runner. And the liberal media knows it. So they will give a pass to ANY liberal who sounds like a rabid Hitler.

I'll bet if an election was held today between Bush and Gore, Bush would top 60%.

Gore tirade - a bit like an Ann Coulter tirade. Neither very worthy of news time.
