Can you do that poster with an M1A in it instead of that funny looking squirrel rifle? Crikey, do I hear incoming??

"I'm off to the SHOT Show tomorrow, and won't be posting until I return."

OK, Trav, but we're expecting a full debriefing report when you return!

You are gonna be like a kid in the candy store. I was at the Orlando show a year ago and it took me one and a half days to see it all. I think the total showroom area was close to 1.5 million square feet.

Check out the LEO exhibits and check out the belt-fed MGs (Mk 19s, MAG-58s and SAWs) that FN is trying to sell to our local LE orgs. Neat, huh?

I haven't seen an M1A version, but there is one with a FAL.

Yep, that is indeed a 1965 era M-16A1.

It was just the cleanest looking M-16/AR-15 image I could find. That's just a notional prototype, not the finished product. I do think some kind of AR-15 is best though, because it's undeniably the most recognizably "all-American" military and sporting rifle.

..but the organization is touting that "a special keynote speaker" will be there.

Maybe it will be Specter since they ENDORSED him since he is so PRO-GUN !! I am sure he was endorsed at the request of the Bush Campaign.
