I'm getting my certification to teach and because of my age, I may have to teach in Philadelphia. My husband keeps asking me--are you SURE? If I were you, I would try for a private school. You won't get the 'combat pay', but you'd be a lot safer.
You're right. But I think that the public schools need conservatives; I really want to teach there. We'll see what happens.
