Much like the French, the Filipino's seem to have short memories!
Not most of them. Most of the Filipino's I've met have a great love for the U.S, in fact, many would like to join our country as the 51'st state. It's the rabble rousers in the colleges and the leftest instructors that are causing many of the problems.

You are probably correct. I was guilty of a very "over generalization" of the Filipino people. As I stated in a previous post, I was quite annoyed when they asked us to leave and close down Clark AFB.
It is quite possable that their government's actions is as represenative of the people's feelings as ours is.
I stand corrected.
