Over the last few days, both Noonan and Buckley pulled a Novak. Noonan's latest cloumn addresses the unfavorable mail she received on it.

I went over and read her column.I did not write her but I thought she was too critical.Words are her life's work and people who are not articulate enough will drive her nuts.
I thought she had good advice on preparing the message for the campaign.
I thought her "fear" accusation against the writers who wrote in and disagreed with her assessment of the Russert interview was a bit harsh,too.
We've had dem talking points and dem interviews 24/7 during the primary season .We want our conservatives to lay off joining in the chorus of beating up on the President while the dems and media is doing it full time,perhaps.
I don't suggest ,however, the President should be spared from constructive criticism.
