We’re going to need a thread II as this one is starting to slow the site down. Also, on the new thread, please stop posting the name and pictures of the person you think the woman may be. The evidence doesn’t support the claim and we don’t need to be doing that. Wait for it to come out. It will. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1076893/posts

Update 2:

CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN

**World Exclusive**
**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.

MORE

A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!

In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]

The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Update 3

FROM CONRESSIONAL QUARTERLY'S CRAIG CRAWFORD: 'Drudge item on Kerry intern issue is something Chris Lehane (clark press secy) has shopped around for a long time -- it was one reason the Gore vetters in 2000 shied away from Kerry as a running mate choice -- their conclusion that it wasn't bad enough to disqualify him, except for the fact that they couldn't risk it as they were trying so hard to distance themselves from Clinton's personal failings (note: Lehane worked for Gore at the time -- and briefly advised Kerry during this campaign). The Kerry camp has long expected to deal with this, and have assured party leaders they can handle it'...

That type of thing isn't going to sit well with voters when you compare President Bush's superb relationship with his wife Laura.

Which is a clue what to expect from the Dem dirt-diggers next. Forget the National Guard! Bush slept with everybody, including our mothers.

I fail to see how infidelity harms Democrats within their own party. Times have changed since the days of Gary Hart, expecially within that party. Back then, pro-life Democrats like Bob Casey weren't considered pariahs. Back then, they still had small remnants of social respectibility concerns.

OK, so he is a cad who has problems living up to his marital vows. This pales in comparison to the fact that he slandered his fellow veterans and has been on the wrong side of every defense and intelligence related issue for over 30 years. Come to think of it, it pales in comparison to the fact that he is the biggest beneficiary of special interest money, it pales in comparison to Torricelli raising money for him, it pales in comparison to his economic liberalism and his love of wealth redistribution, it pales in comparison to his lack of charitable giving, it pales in comparison to his flip-flops on most issues.

Infidelity is a serious matter between a husband and wife. But as far as this election goes, this is small potatos.

ANYONE smell the CLINTONS on this???

On the thread about Clark withdrawing, I told somebody that the Clintons would drop something on Kerry before the next primaries........

This could be it.

Here comes their boy, Edwards.

But, a Dean vs. Edwards remaining race may fracture the Democrats beyond all expectations.

Sounds like a plan to me!

"Hillary is going to make her move soon, just you wait..."

I have to disagree with you. Unless something big comes down on Bush, Hitlery can't beat him right now and she knows it. She will wait until 2008, after they've had more time to prep the electorate for the first female US Prez.

There's room here for a line about the incestuous relationship between the Dems and the media...

"THIS INVOLVES A 23 YEAR OLD SENATE STAFFER WHOM KERRY HAS BEEN SEEING AND HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH FOR SOME TIME."

Getting a little personal here but if Kerry had prostrate cancer a year ago and had his prostrate removed, Well, I have heard that unless maybe you use Viagra or Cieras it is a little difficult to humm! you know what.

Exactly but it will be interesting what Hillary is trying to do. Is she trying to poison the field so that nobody has a chance in '04 or is she lining up the nomination for herself?

Bingo! This is right on schedule so she can step in at the convention and save the day. Edwards better start looking over his shoulder because he is the only one left in her way.

This doesn't help her.
It only reminds everyone that her husband was getting a BJ while 9/11 was being plotted.
I'm sure she wants taint like this as far away from her as possible.
