This story will be dead by next week, and W will have squandered political capital to show records and proof of service. He should have completely ignored te allegations. Just another example of the DNC hurling shiite against a wall and seeing what sticks. And Bush and co, stepped right in it-they should have told anyone who was asking to p*ss up a rope..

Agreed.
And I don't expect the treasonous DemoRat filth or their media shills like Chris Matthews, to back off or apologize either... they'll just quietly drop the matter.
Scum.

Chris Matthews was almost breathless in his delight in interviewing this Burkett clown.. yet Matthews failed to disclose Burkett's long history as a Bush-hating crackpot.

I agree. DU says they aren't going to let this drop. As a matter of fact, they're worried that the Kerry scandal may put the AWOL scandal in the background since they worked so hard to keep it going.

Thank you for the post. I've been waiting for this drivel to die.
Your judgment of the President is pretty harsh, but that's OK. Kerry likely will follow your advice regarding his attempt to bimbo-ize a young woman, and that Drudge nonstory will go away.
It's refreshing to see a story like this in The Globe.
