Orrin Hatch is a spineless idiot. What does hillary have on him in her FBI files? If Hatch can't stand the heat, he should quit and let someone else do the job.

"It strikes me that the Democrats are trying very hard to change the subject, and having Senate Republicans follow their lead is bizarre," said Kay Daly,

Yeah, Kay, it strikes me the same way. I'm happy to see it coming up again, anyhow.

But in a joint statement released during a rancorous Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday, Chairman Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and ranking Democratic Sen. Pat Leahy, D-Vt., said wrongdoing occurred in how the memos were made public, suggesting that is where attention will stay for now.

EVERYONE needs to call Orrin Hatch's office and raise hell about this outrage!
A seat on SCOTUS ain't worth selling out to Leahy and Kennedy, Senator Hatch!

How ironic! With the current state of the Judiciary leaning left wing, a scandal is exposed within the Senate Judiciary Committee. If there are illegal activities exposed, it should not matter how the evidence was obtained since it was a private citizen's involvement that gave the basis for the investigation. Might I add, at great personal risk.
These Senators think they are above the law, and beyond reproach. Let's bring them down to the real world.

Ya know, we pay these bums and their system outrageous sums of our hard earned, much needed at home cash. The fact that they spend it on committees and staffers who's time and resources are spent throwing wrenches into the same system is maddening and should be cause to disband such committees and cut senate staffing budgets to zero.

Frankly, on both sides most of government has become a waste of effort and their conduct is damaging to our nation. We'd be better off with no congress at all. Maybe give each member a laptop, unlimited stamps and a wet sponge. Eliminate their staffers.

Pickle also told an Associated Press reporter this week that he believed there was indeed impropriety involved in the leaks.

From Pickle's bio:
In his role as Special Agent in Charge of the Vice Presidential
Protective Division, one of the largest divisions of the Secret Service,
he was responsible for all aspects of protection of the Vice President
and his family. In this role, Mr.Pickle maintained daily contact
with Vice President Gore and Senior White House Staff and coordinated
all aspects of security for the Vice President's 2000 Presidential Campaign.

"Somebody needs to be fired," Graham said

"Somebody needs to be jailed!" swampfox98 said when interviewed. "I suggest starting with the Democrats on the Judicial Committee, and ending with the Republicans who are trying to aid and abet them. Also, I believe the memo leakers should run for the Senate. We are desperately in need of some honesty on the Committee." swampfox98 uttered these words right before she was hauled out to the firing range.

The ethics complaint won't go anywhere. Hatch and Frist have already rolled over. They just want the issue to go away. They won't deal with the treasonous content of the memos. Hatch should officially change his party affiliation to democrat. He would do less damage than as a democrat in GOP clothing.

I know that when I had sixty employees reporting to me, that when such unproductive matters were taking place, and employees had the luxury of company resources, equipment and time on the clock to carry on with such nonsense, it was time to do some cutting and trimming.

Too much spare time. Too much equipment. Too many bodies. Not enough real work to be doing.

"Orrin Hatch is a spineless idiot."

The good news is Orrin Hatch is in his last year as Chairman of the Judiciary Commitee.

The bad news his replacement will be Arlen Spector.

Anyone who claims to be a conservative and supports Orin Hatch is stark raving bonkers, or illiterate and can't read.
