You would think that it would reach a point when the "mainstream" media would be forced to report this or risk irrelevence.

"A source at one of the major television networks (said) that they are specifically forbidden to talk about (the Kerry sex scandal) on the air until one of the other major television networks reports on it first."

FOX News, please pick up the white courtesy phone.

Paging FOX News!

If the story were not true, the American news media would not have worked so hard to suppress it.

Kerry must have buggered her in his Worcester office, not DC.

After the Michael Dukakis sex scandal, the liberal media promised each other that they would never again give legs to a sex scandal that would ruin a Democratic candidate. They're holding true to their word.

The New York Times today published a piece defending Kerry against Republican attacks, declaring "the beginning of what party officials said would be an attempt to undercut Mr. Kerry's reputation at a time when he is riding high from repeated victories in primaries and caucuses." The Times piece did not mention the sex scandal by name. . . . .

. . . followed by their continuing story on President Bush and his missing AWOL year while in the National Guard.

Tick, tick, tick is right. Monica took 4 days.

Meanwhile, the presstitutes are conditioning the story to be GOP inspired attacks. Oh, how I loathe them....

Omerta, the code of silence, is alive and well among the media Mafioso in America.

Sleep tight tonight, America, your press corps is awake. And scheming.

There's a tremendous difference between the internet penetration of this country six years ago when Clinton's peccadilloes were revealed and now.

Blackout or not, everybody's heard the story.

Is there any evidence beyond Drudge that there is a story here? If the woman chooses not to come forward, which is her right, why would there be a story here? It's not a sexual harassment case where there is discovery.

Our time would be better spent finding tactics to implement in battleground states on election day to GOTV for the GOP and depress the vote for the Dems.

Now, now... we have to give Kerry enough time to create a good defense before the media report the story...

Sounds logical. Add to that that if it were not true the media would likely jump at the opportunity to dispove it. Though maybe they are all waiting to see who fires the next shot and in which direction. Beats me, but it is great theater.

**Internationally, the Kerry sex scandal story has been covered by the UK Sun, the UK Telegraph, various Australian papers.**

So will the ABCNNBCBS coverage begin four days later??

(As it did when Drudge broke the Monica story?)

Does anyone have real, verifiable numbers on how many US residents get their news from the net vs. TV?
