'Kerry had a Monica too'

WASHINGTON, Feb. 13. - The US Presidential race is getting murkier with a claim about an alleged affair involving Democratic party frontrunner Senator John Kerry and an intern.

Mr Matt Drudge, who exposed the Monica Lewinsky scandal, claimed the Massachussetts Senator was planning a response amid "a frantic behind the scenes drama" and the woman has fled to Africa "reportedly at the prodding of Mr Kerry".

The nature and details of the alleged two-year relationship, beginning in the Spring of 2001, is at the centre of serious investigations at several media outlets, Mr Drudge claimed.

"Like the Monica Lewinsky drama, which first played out publicly in this space, with audio tapes, cigar and a dress, the Kerry situation has posed a challenge to reporters investigating the claims. There is no lawsuit testimony this time (like Mr Bill Clinton with Ms Paula Jones)," a source said yesterday. " It is hard to prove." Shrugging off the allegations, Mr Kerry said there was nothing to talk about and he was ready for Republican onslaught ahead of the election. "I have been through some tough races... I'm going to fight back. I'm a fighter," he told MSNBC TV. - PTI

Hee! Hee! The DUmmies are having a panic attack over this. Apparently they think Kerry might have ruined his own chances of beating Bush due to this scandal. Read some of this sample DUmmie commentary and LAUGH:

I'm not convinced...he evaded a direct NO I didn't do it...This could make it worse for him if there is something there. People are going to be reminded of the "I did not have sex with that woman - Monica Lewinsky" and it won't be pretty. I get the feeling he's hedging his bet until he knows exactly what the press has. He would be better to come clean if there is anything to come clean about.

It was definitely a non-denial denial...I don't know if it was his natural ease with politics that made him go with a non-denial denial or not, but he did not come out and say, "Drudge is spreading balatantly false stories."

He said "nothing to report", "nothing to talk about", "no story", "nothing there". None of those is a definitive denial - it would be so easy to say "IT did not happen!" "it's a lie!"- but he didn't do it! This makes me VERY nervous about Kerry's situation.

I'm just sick of timid Democrats who won't defend themselves, much less their supporters. This is just one more example of more of the same that we've endured for the last 15 years. Like Clinton and Gore, Kerry bows to the gutter politics and wears his pink tutu proudly. I will end with this question - if Kerry won't defend HIMSELF, what makes you think he will defend YOU?

Kerry had better not lie! Kerry, this is a test, please do not lie about this. People will find out! That said, I believe him for now. I think Teresa Kerry is extremely attractive and compelling. I believe that John Kerry really loves her. You definately can see it the way they look at each other. Anyway I cannot stand a sex scandal again. Please God.

Mr Matt Drudge…

Boy, he gets a lot more respect in the Indian press than he does over here, where he is generally known as “conservative internet gossip” Matt Drudge.

India, England, and Australia are allowed to know about this from their "important" newspapers. The Land of the Free is the Land of the Ignorant.

Yeah, DU, any woman with $650 million is "extremely attractive and compelling."

India has a remarkably free press, and I frequently turn to them myself to find out what is really going on here in the USA.

It is such a relief to read the India reports, free of the perpetual political correctness and schoolmarmish avoidance of "racist" or other words or nuances that pervade our one-party RAT controlled media in the near- totalitarian empire of the USA.

As to the RATS' meltdown over Kerry's tomcatting ways: Lovie Heinz is not 'attractive'. She's a Botoxed, over the hill, arrogant, way too rich matron, with all that that implies. Kerry's even hired a handler to make sure she keeps her big mouth shut in public. She's a loose cannon rolling around on the Titanic. Kerry's going down.

Yeah why is CBSABCNBCFOX sitting on this major News ABOUT a presidential candidate? Are all major networks waiting for Kerry to get a few more key primary victories first? I can picture a near future Kerry blaming Republicans for *his* actions: "I was set up by Karl Rove." Ahh the Democrat will get a free pass once again. (It's just about sex you know..)

Who cares about his love life? If someone was dumb enough to sleep with such an ugly speciman - so be it!

I want to hear more about his real life confession to being a war criminal by killing civilians because 'everybody did it'.

I care.

This guy is married to one of the wealthiest women in the world and running for president. He Chooses to engage in an extra-marital affair.

What kind of reasoning power and clear thinking can this man possess. He is running for the most powerful position in the world and he chooses to risk it all on a fling with an intern??????

His choices are very telling about the man

I'm afraid we'll get Bush/Hitlery debates, and if so, Bush had better take the gloves off, because that's the only card she'll play...'I'm a woman, so you can't say anything hostile to or about me'. The media will crown her the winner every time...remember when they kept saying Gore had won the debates, when it was perfectly obvious that Bush had wiped the floor with him! And that delicious moment when Gore oozed over to Bush, trying to disconcert him; and Bush gave him that dismissive nod. The auditorium erupted in laughter. That was the end of Gore's campaign...he didn't even need to mention 'Dingle Norwood', although that was the icing on the cake.

If the intern looks like Petra Verkaik, I wouldn't blame Ketchup Boy for risking it all for a roll in the hay.
