Kerry can take some lines from Geraldine Ferraro's book, when it comes to religious matters:
Kerry on abortion: "I would never have an abortion myself (I'm Catholic!), but why should I deny others the right to kill their unborn children?"
Kerry on gay marriage: I do not support marriage for homosexual priests. It's a deeply-held religious issue for me. If I have to quit my job over this, so be it!
