Here's the problem for the "Kerrycrats". Their boy is peaking at exactly the wrong time. Even with the bad two weeks that Bush has had, his base has remained with him. The AWOL story caught a backlash from the Republican base. Bush rose seven points in Gallup in a week.
Right now, the economy can only get better and the conduct of the war is about to be intensified right into Pakistan's Northwestern Frontier Provinces. There's a good chance that Bin Laden and his crowd may get rolled up in the process.
Finally, I'm convinced that Bush will surprise everybody by announcing Dick Cheney's retirement after the first term is up and the ascension of Condi Rice to the VP slot. This will force Kerry to turn to the Hildebeast, and allow us to point out who is wearing the pantsuit on that ticket.
Kerry hasn't had as good a "spring" as everyone says he has had. He's like George W. Bush in 1999-peaking at exactly the wrong time.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Listen up folks. I was concerned about John Effing Kerry and his allies in the media
until I got a haircut yesterday. I went a shop in the mall. Its hard to find a good hair stylist these days, so I have been going back to the same stylist for years. It so happens that the majority of the stylists - as well as the customers - are black.
The young woman who cuts my hair loves to banter. During the cut, I mentioned John Kerry. Her response was Who? I asked Dont you know who John Kerry is? Her reply was: Is he that actor? We then asked the others in the shop: who could tell me who John Kerry is. To my surprise NO ONE KNEW!
Now this happened yesterday, AFTER john Kerry campaigned in Virginia AND WON THE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY BY A BIG MARGIN. And this happened in a group made up of his natural constituency.
Right now, to political junkies, John Kerry looks formidable. He is all over the news and the Internet. In the real world, its who is John Kerry? Nobody knows. And that presents a golden opportunity to Bush because he can be pinned down and defined by our side. Before this election is over, hell be lucky to retain his seat in the Senate.
