Adults are the problem. Teens are the symptom.
The greatest disappointment of the 20th Century is that the so-called "greatest generation" spawned the absolute worst--until the following one.

The way I see it is that nothing has changed, except maybe the numbers. Good parenting produces good teens, who grow up to be good adults.

Naw, my generation is leaps and bounds better than the "bummers". The boomers sure didn't have a problem sopping up all that wealth generated from my generations sweat during the 90's (when I entered the workforce). Now that they've built up enough investment capital they are shipping our jobs out (to make even more money), thanks mom and dad!!
What was that quote from my parents generation "never trust anyone over 30.
The next generation isn't so bad and many of them have conservative leanings. Gen-X is a nicer more tolerant generation than the previous, now geriatric, generation that gave us the confidence-building name of Generation X (derogatory term we turned positive).

The greatest disappointment of the 20th Century is that the so-called "greatest generation" spawned the absolute worst--until the following one. Last part is not true at all, The Xers are way better than the Worst Generation (a.k.a. Baby Boomers)
And that's the reason teens today are "Getting Better" and will continue to improve because more and more Gen-X is starting to replace the me,me,me,me baby boomers as being parents of today's teens.
