This should be a great event!

IMHO, that's a pretty stupid title. The constituency you are trying to persuade/convert is going to associate the phrase 'civil rights movement' with the right to vote and other benefits from that movement, not the today's race hustlers that are feeding off the original movement.
While the speaker's intent is probably good, in expose the race panderering opportunists, all that could easily get lost/overwhelmed by careless ways of hyping. Gotta be smart.
Surely you don't think the civil rights movement was a net negative? Jim Crow and the poll tax have no place in conservatism.

I've never heard of Reginald Jones, but I'm sure glad he's out! The Civil Rights Act of '64 and the Voting Rights Act were necessary and would have been enacted decades before except for Democratic opposition.
But once the Democrats lost that battle, they didn't just embrace the Civil Rights movement, they hijacked it and turned it against ALL Americans, but especially against Blacks.
I wish I could hear Jones' radio program. Does anyone know whether it can be heard on the internet?

--- is my sincere belief that when the final version of "The Decline and Fall of the USA" is written-probably in Chinese-that the passage of the so called "civil rights" act will be cited as one of the major downward turning points--
The rise of most of the ridiculous and destructive movements-feminism, "gay"rights, women in the military-have been offshoots of it---along with the rise of the permanently subsidised underclass pandered to by the Demotraitors---
