Judges don't make law they enforce them.

Actually, any decision issued by a Judge is law. This means a Judge makes law every time he issues a decision.

Legislatures make law.
Activist judges attempt to make law by interpretation but they don't make law. They set a precedence nut don't make law.
Why would we need a legislature then?
