Would the DNC threaten or imply to threaten someone's life?

I truly believe they would do just that.

Well, I think we have the list of staffers. The one that was or is his staffer is a lesbian, so she's out as a "suspect."

I reckon we are at a loggerheads w/o someone poking around inside the Hill for some tidbits. Any freepers with that kind of capability?

"We've been HAD by a Fake story so that Drudge and Talk Radio and the Internet are ALL DISCREDITED!!"

Before you make statments like that, first read all of the stories and quotes AFTER putting your Corporal Cueball Word Parsing device on your computer monitor. It took Drudge 6 months to get all of the Monica story out. Give it time and quit giving up on the guy so soon. He didn't start the rumor even though every story is falsely reporting that.

I like your in depth analysis. However her friend who has the alleged emails and letters hopefully is not getting rides to and from anywhere with any DNC staffers. I do fear for her. These psychos in the DNC have already demonstrated the propensity for "accidents" to occur involving their enemies.

I've tried accessing the intern list. I've blown the pictures up and the girls look similar but I don't have the talent to do a side by side of them (the spring 2002 intern photo and the picture published in the UK tabloids). There is more to this story than we know. And if any FReepers have access to the intern lists on the hill, this is the time to "leak" them.

"The 1998 story had a Boston paper describing an attractive young blonde woman. I think there are at least two different stories colliding here."

I agree. There is no reason to think the blonde has anything to do with Ms. Polier.

But observe the lack of interest in the blonde. John Kerry is out pursuing relationships with a number of young women. It is not his having an affair that is the threat to his presidential candidacy which is being covered up. If he had screwed Ms. Polier, no real reason he does not admit it and drive on. Might have a problem with Mrs. Ketchup but no real impact on his presidential candidacy.

What is being covered up is something which occurred in the 2003-2004 time frame; an event which happened around the time he started the presidential campaign.

Thanks. It is fair speculation that the young lady who was shot at her workplace in a Starbuck's outlet had the misfortune to have seen Monica servicing Slick Bill. On the other hand, it is a fair inference that Ms. Polier made the video interview tape as a form of life insurance. The friend may also be protected--we can hope so.

I hope so also. These are not the kind of people you want to mess with. The Kennedy mafia has a history of blood on it's hands. I'm sure that's why Kerry cast his lot with them; to intimidate his opponents and force the Clinton mafia to cut deals.

Drudge is saying that Polier dated Kerry's Campaign Finance chief (Peter Maroney) and he goes on to say TIME magazine's Tim Burger and ABC NEWS have developed intriguing elements to the case, sources reveal. Putting this together w/ propertius' hints about nasty details and mention of ''date rape'', one really wonders why the Kerry campaign has been hiding the connection between this Maroney character & Polier if the connection is true. Why not just come clean and say that it was a Kerry staffer who was involved w/ Polier at the get-go? That is, unless there is something they don't want known?

It is just too weird to qualify for coincidental when parents who call Kerry a "sleazebag" last week, are gushing over him and saying they will vote for him this week. And according to the BBC News website (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3493277.stm), they are purportedly Republicans!

The story also includes some interesting quotes regarding the liberal media's "reluctance" to go after Kerry and pursue this story:

Mainstream media defence

The Washington Post London correspondent Glenn Frankel, a Pulitzer Prize winner and former editor of the Post's Sunday magazine, defended his newspaper's editorial judgment.

"We've been down this road many, many times before. We are extremely reluctant to follow this kind of thing up unless there is a really, really compelling public interest. We don't feel there is any reason to until it reaches a threshold.

"All we have at the moment is that the woman's parents, who are republicans, don't like Senator Kerry.

"In any case, nobody would be too shocked if Kerry lied about an affair. Even if someone came to us with photographs we still wouldn't run it. Lying to Don Imus [the radio host to whom Kerry gave his initial denial] is not a federal offence."

The early jousting holds the promise of a campaign with few holds barred. It is a delicate game because it can backfire and allegations are often floated through the undergrowth of the internet to see how far they get. Both campaigns muster big teams to counter whatever might emerge.

The only word that covers these "coincidental" 180 turnabouts in stories is Clintonesque.
