Saudis deny report about Chinese missiles and Saudi financing Pakistan's nuclear program

Riyadh, Feb. 16, SPA -- A source at the Ministry of Defense and Aviation has denied a report by Reuters that US officials believe China is cooperating with the kingdom of Saudi Arabia on acquisition of Chinese missiles and that the kingdom helped finance Pakistan's nuclear program hoping this will enable it to acquire a nuclear weapon.

The source said these news and information are fabricated and totally incorrect stressing that the kingdom has been and is still calling for a Middle East free from weapons of mass destruction.

I'm an American of Asian Indian origin - it is common knowledge India is the largest Hindu nation in the world. What's less commonly known is that it is the SECOND largest (no kidding) Muslim nation in the world, second only to Indonesia. I lived there most of my life and have seen the lack of peace between Muslims and anyone else they come in contact with in that part of the world.

I've always suspected that Pakistan's bomb is not a national bomb, it is a Islamic bomb to be transferred to any Muslim country. It is no surprise to see the Saudis financing it. Sadly enough, in most Islamic countries, the people are oppressed and the only way for the dictators to keep 'em quiet is to cry wolf using words like "Israel and Zionists", "America the Great Satan" and "Kashmir". For those who are unaware, Kashmir is the only state in India with a majority Muslim population. I will leave it as an exercise for the readers to take a lucky guess on which state in India has had the most violence over the last 10-15 years or so.

Frankly, I wonder why Pakistan is not considered a rogue nation - it has a Jekyll and Hyde personality with the dark side being predominant.

Largely because Musharraf appears to be effectively doing something about it. If the Jihadists take over, it will be so considered. But there is hope that the Western and modern world oriented Pakistanis will prevail. So there is hope that rabid Hindu nationalism will ultimately be voted out in India.
