Re your post #33 - That quote from Kerry is frightening. He sounds like he wants to change the job description of US President, so that it no longer includes the responsibility of also being Commander in Chief.

PS Maybe this is why Kerry had such a tough time answering that question in the Dem debate the other night, re Do you take responsibility for your vote on Iraq? He really did not want to say he takes responsibility for it, as John Edwards noticed. I just don't think someone like that can actually be president.
