Right, and she did have an arrest record, so maybe they thought she may have been a suspect if there was a break in.

Is it possible that her name came up in a different way--not through a list of convicted criminals? Maybe a cellphone number that somehow had her name on it was one of the numbers called by Scott on that day. But maybe the cellphone number had a different owner on Dec. 31, 2002, and the police just didn't realize that?
