AM Radio 770 KKOB in Albuquerque, NM is currently running an ad by MoveOn.org that is asking people to call on their Senators and Reps to censure George W. Bush.
I think maybe we Freepers should let KKOB know what we think of KKOB accepting advertising dollars from MoveOn.org and letting this tripe on their air waves.
Their e-mail addres is: kkobam@citcomm.com
TOPICS: US: New Mexico
KEYWORDS: 2004; ads; kerry; moveon
Let's let them have it!

I'm getting finger cramps I'm sending out so many emails and making so many phone calls today. But I think I have a little strength left in my little finger to let them know my opinion:) Thanks for the heads up.

Time to run our own commercial, one that says that Moveon, like the so called "People for the American Way" are communist subversion groups almost exclusively financed by contributions from jealous euro-weenies and cocaine snorting, hollywood elitists who's only purpose is to follow their predecessors battle cry of "America, we shall demoralize, divide, and destroy from within."

I'm afraid I wasn't really paying attention to the commercials until I heard the MoveOn one. Some of the sponsors that I hear on this station are Steamatic (this one I hear a lot) They do carpets, fire/flood restoration, and clean air ducts. 770 KKOB self promos. Home Depot. and I just heard an Advil commercial now, but we are into the Rush Limbaugh show at this point. Hope that helps.

The commercial plays quotes by GW on the lead up to war in Iraq.
ie. A quote about Iraq's WMDs. Then a voice over states that this was untrue, A quote about an Iraq/Al Qada link and a voice over saying this was a lie, ect.
Basically, they want Bush censured for misleading the public in the lead up to war with Iraq.
Even Larry Ahrens who does the morning show stated that he didn't like the fact that they were airing this commercial, but he said that he does not make the decision on advertisers.

That is really pathetic. I hope their ads stay as lame as this one. It should not get airtime though as it is a smear piece at best.
