When God doesn't work fast enough it's reassuring to know that some of His minions are more than willing to take over.

It's so amusing that some "Christians" seem to think they have the right to speak for their deity

Amusement is in the eye of the beholder.

For instance, I find it rather amusing that the same folks who scorched Judge Roy Moore for "ignoring the rule of law" have failed to scorch Mayor Whateverhisnameis, for exactly tthe same thing.

Thanks for the chuckle.

This is actually worse than Isa 3:12 though 3:12 is at the root

There is another judge coming soon and when He talks, EVERYONE WILL LISTEN! Choice will be gone!I know not the hour of His coming but I KNOW HE WILL COME! His name is JESUS and even the 9th Circuit Court will bow when He comes!

What would you have them do? Vermont allowed civil unions for same-sex couples, and now look. The population of the state was decimated in a wave of plagues, famine, floods and strife. Now only hideous mutations haunt the burnt out wreckage of the once fine state.

Well, that will be happening. Any day now. Just wait and see.

Or we could just have some enlightened conservative mayor in California start passing out concealed weapons permits to its citizens:)

Not to mention the people of CA voted and made law that states: marriage is between a man and a woman.

Proposition 22 was an initiative to change the law, not an initiative to amend the California Constitutional. That was a big mistake by the proponents of Prop 22, but they were probably trying to cut corners on the cost, since it requires a lot more signatures to place a Constitutional initiative on the ballot.

So the San Francisco controversy still revolves around the wording and meaning of Article I, Section 7(b) of the California Constitution:

A citizen or class of citizens may not be granted privileges or immunities not granted on the same terms to all citizens. Privileges or immunities granted by the Legislature may be altered or revoked.
If the courts interpret this section to mean that marriage must be open to gays (i.e., "on the same terms to all citizens"), then Prop 22 is irrelevant, since that state Constitutional provision overrides any state law or legislative initiative.

"San Francisco city official Thom Lynch told Fox News that Newsom and other city officials did not feel they were breaking any laws

Yeah right....so I don't "feel like paying tax, driving at 65mph and not discharging my firearm"

And Arnold is leading the fight against this BS, right? No? I thought the silence was deafening.

Yeah, good thing the conservatives didn't vote for McClintock. Idiots.

the statement "Superior Court hears all municipal cases" is not quite correct. There are no more "municipal cases", and no more municipal court in California. It was done away with about five years ago when the courts were consolidated.

Donna J. Hitchens, who took over as the Presiding Judge of the SF Superior Court, from Quidachay, is gay.

I want answers!! And I want one now!! Patience ain't my virtue!

Neither is rational discourse. Since you registered 11 days ago, you have posted twice - both posts are incoherent, babbling rants.

Give me reason to hope!

Maybe the third time is a charm. (I'm not betting on it.)

"WHERE IS ARNOLD????????????????????????????????????"

You were expecting Ahnuld to do something about this? Why?

Laws Be Damned

"There is a new political development in America that should frighten every law abiding citizen in this country. That is the growing disregard for people who follow the law and play by the rules, and the rewarding of those who do not.

Where I live in California we have two concurrent stories going on that demonstrate clearly what is at issue. The first one involves the Mayor of San Francisco who, though sworn to uphold the laws and the Constitution of California in his just taken oath of office, now allows and instructs city government to break those laws.

Under California’s penal code, he might very well be committing a felony. Mayor Newsome has decided that he doesn’t like California’s law that says marriage is only between one man and one woman and so he orders marriage licenses to be issued to hundreds of gay couples waiting in line at city hall.

The public and the law be damned, the Mayor will do what he wants. Meantime, Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger has a “no comment” for the media when asked about it, and the State’s Attorney General musters a statement that no one has asked him to issue a legal opinion. Are they serious?"

Schwarzenegger urged to arrest S.F. mayor

"The letter cites California's penal code Section 115, which "prohibits the knowing procurement of any false or forged instrument to be filed or recorded in any public office."
