Cheney does not have the personality to go toe to toe with Kerry and his number two

You don't know Dick Cheney very well, do you? (paraphrasing Bugs Bunny). I actually have the advantage of some personal knowledge and contact with the man. That clearly colors my views.

Cheney, like Bush, is misunderestimated a lot. Particularly by his enemies in the press. The problem is that we tend to accept their premise about our own issues and people. Cheney's the man for the job.

You are right on with Chaney. I think he is a great VP and can go toe to toe with any Dem VP. For the Republican party to change the ticket now would give the opposition a lot of tail wind.

Chaney is a loyal Conservative that would be a great Commander in Chief if the need arises. God forbid.
